David Guillod to IPG as partner

David Guillod, an old partner and mind of movement picture talent at UTA and Handprint Entertainment, is coming back to his management roots, joining literary management company Intellectual Property Group like a partner. Guillod, who joins partners Laurence Becsey, Joel Gotler, Jerry Kalajian, John Lipson and Amy Schiffman, can create a talent management division, Intellectual Artist Management. Following Guillod to IPG is going to be longtime talent manager Shaun Morrone and Mike Carr, an old agent friend of Guillod's at UTA. "We now have labored carefully together for any very long time," Guillod and also the IPG partners stated inside a joint statement. "We have seen this relationship like a natural and wise easily fit in the aggressive development of our talent and literary business, plus an chance to carry on to improve our global vision within the packaging in our source material." The broadened company will represent an assorted listing of clients including Paul Haggis, Bobby Moresco, Dennis Lehane, Demian Bichir, Michael Connelly, James Ellroy, Yann Martel, Ken Bruen, Gabrielle Union, Jesse Fasion, William Fichtner, Joyce Carol Oates, Andre Dubus III and Oni Press, along with the estates of Stephen Ambrose, Jim Thompson and Mark Twain. IPG's source material accounts for such current and past TV hits as "Boardwalk Empire," "True Bloodstream," "Criminal Minds" and "Rome," during the film side, it's "Shutter Island," "The Final King of Scotland," "The Lincoln subsequently Lawyer" and "London Boulevard" to the credit.
